Audi' DNA is Winning

To a crowd of nearly 25,000 fans, the Audi R18 TDI made its first public appearance at Le Mans testing on Easter Sunday. Although Audi Sport Team Joest was more concerned with race preparation than lap times, the Audi R18 TDI would be the fastest car around the Circuit de la Sarthe. Living up to his "Mr. Le Mans" nickname, Tom Kristensen set the fastest time of the day, clocking a blistering 3m 27.687s. In fact, all three R18's managed times of just over 3 minutes 27 seconds; posting the 1st, 2nd and 4th fastest times of the day.
From what we can see, even Mercedes, BMW does not provide full LED solution for Head lamp and DRL, only Audi has this full LED solution since 2009. That shows simply Audi has the heart to product an Hi tech image to every one driving an Audi. See what effort has been doing from other car manufacturers, Lexus has their full LED head lamp on IS600IH model in 2009 on low beam lamp.
Lexus Today has a Car show in ocean Terminal, I could see their entire line of car DRL is lit up by LED and they switch them all on every car. But the Hi beam head lamp is still HID.
From the Slogan on Audi. “Audi DNA is winning” is true…
So in your next car purchase, take this into consideration, we are not just buying car, but the latest technology!

Audi A8L 4.2 FSI Quattro

The A8 4.2L FSI Quattro sedan defines automotive luxury. It is what luxury is supposed to be - exclusive, innovative, a class of its own.
Review: 2011 Audi A8 4.2 FSI Quattro: The sweet smell of success.

NUTS & BOLTS: 2011 Audi A8 4.2 FSI Quattro.

Ride, acceleration and handling: Superior performance in all three.

The A8 4.2 is a full-size, front-engine, all-wheel-drive. Construction uses patented Audi Space Frame (ASF) technology, which mates aluminum with strategic applications of high-strength steel.

Engine/transmission: A 4.2-liter, 32-valve FSI ("fuel stratified injection"), gasoline engine (372 horsepower, 328 foot-pounds of torque). The engine is mated to an electronically controlled eight-speed automatic transmission.

Changes for 2011: The new Audi A8 4.2's V-8 has 22 more horsepower and three foot-pounds more torque than its predecessor. The new car's body is three inches longer and two inches wider than that of the previous model. An eight-speed automatic transmission replaces the six-speed automatic gearbox. Stylistically, the front end of the new car is markedly more aggressive than the front end of the 2010 version. Besides LED DRL, the new 10 LED as the new head Lamp adds a touch of Smart Tech elegancy.

Capacities: There are seats for five people. Luggage capacity is 13.2 cubic feet. The fuel tank holds 23.8 gallons of gasoline. Premium is required.

Mileage: The Environmental Protection Agency's estimate is 9.7L/100km.

Safety: Standard equipment includes ventilated disc brakes front and rear; anti-lock brake protection; electronic brake-force distribution; electronic stability and traction control; pre-collision safety system; post-collision safety system; and knee, side and head air bags.

Price: HK Snob not affordable!

Audi Avatar EV Car

Avatar is an EV car, a futuristic design, each wheel is a hidden supercharge-ion battery power motor with power of 100KW, four wheels add up with have a total power of 544 HP. That is even more powerful than Porsche 911 Turbo and GT-R Spec V!

It’s got a light, or even ultra-light aerodynamic body, and the ability to accelerate 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds. It reaches speeds of 360km/h! It’s a fast car if you didn’t know such a thing. And it looks oh-so-wild. I wonder if it can fold up those wings and fly? Is it Aladin’s flying magic carpet!?

The three seat design was stolen concept form McLaren F1… LED brake lamp and I am sure by time this car is launched, the whole car is light up by LED… Head lamp, brake lamp and interior lamps as this is an Audi…The First one to use LED for their Hi Beam Head Lamp in the world.
